IPIA to bring the first Phoenix Challenge Conference to the southern hemisphere

IPIA is thrilled to be bringing the first Phoenix Challenge Conference to the southern hemisphere this year, hosting the Global Information Conference Australia 2024 – Phoenix Challenge in Adelaide in June 2024.

The conference – themed Innovating for deterrence and readiness in the Indo Pacific – will bring together governments and information warfare experts from around the world to focus on accelerating solutions to contemporary information operations challenges in the Indo Pacific region.

“We’re really excited about the opportunity to host the first of the Phoenix Challenge events in Australia this year,” said IPIA Director Anthony Allen. “We have attended a number of these events in the United States and United Kingdom, meeting some of the brightest minds from around the world and collaborating with them to develop and implement practical solutions that help us enhance global information power capability.

“That’s what really sets this event apart from others – the four-day format allows us to hear from leading experts on what we are facing and best practice solutions from around the world, as well as focused workshops that aim to deliver real-world solutions designed to last long after the conference is over.”

The event will kick off on Tuesday 11 June at the Adelaide Oval, with two days of keynote sessions, followed by two days devoted to the workshops to be hosted at the University of Adelaide, concluding on Friday 14 June.

“This event is made possible thanks to the support and generosity of our platinum sponsors – Elysium EPL www.elysiumepl.com.au, M&C Saatchi www.mcsaatchiworldservices.com and the SA Government www.businesseventsadelaide.com.au,” finished Anthony.

The full program will be announced shortly. Early bird tickets are now available – visit the Event page www.ipia.au/events to learn more and secure your spot today.
